Evidence for Meeting Criteria
WORK PLAN SCORING (60 points)
Each question will be graded on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the highest.
Criteria One (15 points)
Addresses a specific need or problem within an institution
- How clearly stated is the need or problem facing the institution?
- How well defined is the target audience for addressing the problem?
- How well does the plan address challenges or opportunities in finding a solution?
Criteria Two (15 points)
Makes a demonstrable impact on resolving the problem
- How clearly defined is the goal or solution?
- How clearly measurable are the results of that solution?
- Is this the appropriate implementation given the problem?
Criteria Three (15 points)
Incorporates effective and innovative use of resources and technology within budget
- How effective and innovative is the approach?
- Was there innovative use of technology, emerging media, personnel or resources?
- Was there evidence of effective planning for the budget?
Criteria Four (15 points)
Overall success of the campaign
- Does the document provide substantial evidence of success at problem resolution?
- Are the results accurately evaluated and clearly explained?
- Evaluate the overall impact of the combined work plan and work sample.
WORK SAMPLE SCORING (40 points)
Each question will be graded on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the highest.
Criteria One (10 points)
Quality of design and writing
- Is the design visually compelling?
- Is the quality of the writing excellent?
Criteria Two (10 points)
Appropriate and effective use of media
- How well does the selected media work to address the problem or opportunity?
- How appropriate is the selected media to the budget?
Criteria Three (10 points)
Innovative and imaginative approach
- Is the approach imaginative?
- How creative and innovative is the work sample?
Criteria Four (10 points)
Design supports the campaign goal
- How clear are the campaign goals/calls to action in the work sample?
- Is there a common/cohesive voice/look and feel throughout the campaign?
